Jan 28th - Feb 16th - The return to London
We returned to London...and so it appeared, many others did too. While we were away the British Prime Minister ended the 'work from home' rule and London is buzzing again.
Streets, pubs, restaurants are noticeably busier.
It has been fun to continue exploring London and meet up with friends. Being a tourist on a longer term basis does mean we have the time to visit lesser known attractions: Dennis Severs' House, lunchtime lectures and so on. New favorites include the Everyman Cinema with its comfy sofas and contemporary vibe. We also visited the Guildhall where there is a wonderful model of the City, and found a local 'greasy spoon' for breakfast.
As usual we walked everywhere and never fail to be impressed with the architecture - new and old blending together to give London it's unique feel.
